A room with a point of view

More home base.
Less rental row.

A vintage barber chair facing a round brass mirror and deep blue plaster wall at Clubhouse

The actual space.
No stock-photo energy.

Clubhouse was built for talented people who have outgrown someone else’s rules—but don’t want to work in a beige box alone.

You get the polish of a thoughtfully run salon, the ease of a fully stocked station, and the freedom to build the business that looks like you.

01

Your own setup

A private station with mirror, counter, outlets, and personal storage—ready for real client days.

02

The useful stuff is here

Towels, capes, hot-towel and lather machines, a full Aveda back bar, beverages, and fast Wi-Fi.

03

Independent, not isolated

Natural light, NYC views, and a small circle of thoughtful professionals who still like being around people.

Clubhouse is best suited to barbering, cutting, styling, and services that don’t require dedicated color-processing infrastructure. We’ll talk through your setup before a tour.

A note from Angie

I built the room I wanted to work in.

I’ve spent more than 20 years behind the chair, and Highlo has grown by word of mouth for about seven years. I know what it feels like to make the leap into your own thing—and how much easier it is when somebody in the room actually gets it.

Clubhouse is personal, not corporate: high-level service, low-key environment, talented people looking out for each other. Keep your name, your clients, and your way of working. I’ll be here when you need a real human answer.

Angie Elizalde · Founder, Highlo

What we believe

Independence should feel expansive, not lonely.

You already know how to take care of clients. Clubhouse gives that work a beautiful address—and gives you back the mental space usually lost to towels, utilities, inventory, and someone else’s salon politics.

A

Keep your own name

Your clients book with you. Your reputation stays yours.

B

Choose your rhythm

Guest flexibility when you need it; member consistency when you’re ready.

C

Share a good room

Warm, professional, and intentionally small enough to still feel human.

Two ways in

Start where you are.

Try the space for a day, or make it your consistent home. Either way, the expectation is the same: good work, good communication, good energy.

Clear from hello to first booking

A thoughtful yes.
Not an instant calendar link.

The application and Angie’s personal review are live now. Held-tour scheduling and the separate Clubhouse Square booking path are the next setup step.

  1. 1

Live now · about 5 minutes

    Tell us how you work

License, clientele, weekly rhythm, timing, and why you’re making a move. The useful stuff—not a generic contact form.

  2. 2

    Live now · personal review

    Angie checks the fit

Angie reads the complete picture, especially where you work now and why you’re leaving. There is no automatic yes based on a client-count cutoff.

  3. 3

    Personally coordinated for now

    See Clubhouse properly

Strong fits receive specific windows Angie has chosen for a good tour—not the existing client-service calendar. Automated held-window scheduling comes with the Clubhouse Square setup.

  4. 4

    Next setup step

    One secure Square path

Once the separate Clubhouse setup is connected, approved stylists can handle agreements, payment, credentials, and chair booking in one place. Until then, Angie confirms next steps personally.

The operating rule is already clear: active license and insurance stay current. Automated expiry reminders and booking enforcement will turn on with the Clubhouse Square connection; until then, Angie verifies them personally.

Before you apply

The questions worth asking.

Who is Clubhouse for?

Licensed independent barbers and stylists with an existing clientele—or a clear, serious plan for building one—who want a polished weekly home without giving up their own identity.

Can I do color services here?

Clubhouse is strongest for barbering, cutting, styling, and services that don’t need dedicated color-processing infrastructure. Tell us about your setup and Angie will talk it through with you.

How are tours scheduled?

Angie reviews the application first, then shares specific windows that work for the room. Tours are not booked through Highlo’s client-service calendar.

When do you collect license and insurance documents?

Not in this form. After approval, Angie coordinates secure collection privately. Square-native collection, renewal reminders, and booking enforcement are part of the separate Clubhouse setup still to be connected.

Is Highlo’s current Square booking page the Clubhouse calendar?

No. That calendar remains for client services. Clubhouse chair rentals will use a separate booking flow so stylist access never appears on the client-facing calendar.

Start the conversation

Tell us about the business you’re building.

This isn’t a first-come, first-served rental form. It’s a quick fit check for experienced professionals who care about their clients and the room around them.

What happens next

For now, Angie reviews every complete application and follows up personally. Strong fits get specific tour windows—not the existing client-service calendar.
